Transfer news: AFC Wimbledon confirm loan signing of Reading youngster Angus MacDonald

AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown is delighted to have snared Reading defender Angus MacDonald on loan.

The 19-year-old defender enjoyed loan spells at Basingstoke and Torquay United last season and has been capped at Under-16 and Under-19 level for England.

“Angus is a very talented, young centre-back from Reading and I think he will be a really good addition for us,” Brown told AFC Wimbledon’s official website.

“We have been looking to get another centre-half in on loan until Callum McNaughton is back and fit to play.”
