AFC Wimbledon star Sammy Moore is excited by the prospect of playing alongside former AFC Bournemouth full back Warren Cummings.

The Dons have also brought in Stacy Long, Louis Harris and Curtis Osano this summer as the Dons look to reach the play-offs.

“Bringing in the quality players that we have so far this summer shows what we are trying to achieve here,” he told the club’s official site.

“It can only help the players that were here last season and bring them on.

“I was speaking to Warren earlier and he said that you can have all the money in the world, but if you do not have good team spirit, then you will not get anywhere.

“He said they had great team spirit at Bournemouth when they got promoted and hopefully Warren can help bring that to us.

“They also played a good passing style so I think that he will fit in well here.

“We want to achieve something next season.

“I think that the players we have brought in shows that the club is only going one way and hopefully that is towards the play-offs.

“I have been itching to get back for about a month now. It was great to start training again and I think that the new lads are settling in well.”
