AFC Wimbledon star Christian Jolley is targeting a place in the League Two play offs next season.

The Dons finished 16th last season in their first Football League campaign and the striker has set his sights high.

“I think the play-offs should be the aim,” he told the club’s official site.

“I thought that last season, but maybe that was a bit naive as it was our first year in the Football League.

“But with everyone pushing in the right direction, we should be aiming for the play-offs - that is what we think is achievable.

“We are a few short in terms of the squad that is being put together, but I am sure the gaffer will take care of that.

“We played better against the best sides last season and showed that we could reach the required standard.

“We just need to make sure that we do the job next season and be more consistent.”
