Transfer news: AFC Wimbledon have secured a double loan swoop

AFC Wimbledon have sealed one-month loan deals for defenders George Francomb and Dale Bennett.

Right-back Francomb, 20, arrives from Norwich City, while 22-year-old centre-back Bennet joins the club from Championship side Watford.

Both players had loan spells last season. Francomb made 17 appearances for Scottish side Hibernian while Bennett spent time at Brentford.

Dons manager Terry Brown said: “We were desperate to get a couple of quality players in.”

“We have not got unlimited funds and I am delighted with the quality of the boys we have managed to get in at this late stage before the deadline.”
