Transfer news: Schalke are keen to extend Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s contract
Alleged Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham target Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will be staying with German club Schalke, according to the club’s general manager Horst Heldt.
The Dutchman has been linked with a move to England in recent weeks after scoring 37 goals in 56 Bundesliga appearances for the German giants.
“Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is still under contract with our club,” Heldt told Reviersport.
“He is pretty much aware that we are very keen to prolong his contract and as far as I know he is also keen to do so.”
