Arsenal transfer news: Fernando Llorente is open to a move to the Premier League

Alleged Arsenal target Fernando Llorente has given his strongest hint yet that he will move to England.

The Athletic Bilbao striker has been linked with the Gunners after helping the Spanish side reach the final of the Europa League.

“I might end up playing in England, who knows,” he replied, quickly adding: “At the moment I’m at Athletic Bilbao, but who knows later.”

Llorente also revealed that international team-mates Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres have tempted him with a move there.

“[Alonso and Torres] have told me about the immense respect that the fans have for their players there,” Llorente added.
