Arsenal will be without Abou Diaby for at least three weeks after he limped out of Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea today.

The French midfielder spent much of last term on the sidelines but since he returned this season has been a leading light in the Gunners’ form.

But their unbeaten start to the campaign came to an end at the Emirates Stadium and now manager Arsene Wenger must do without the midfielder for Wednesday’s Champions League visit of Olympiakos and at least the trips to West Ham and Norwich.

“He has a muscular strain,” the Arsenal boss said.

“That will be a minimum of three weeks out.”
