Transfer news: Kevin Mirallas has been linked with a move to England
Arsenal and Liverpool target Kevin Mirallas has claimed that his agent has spoken to the Gunners about a possible move.
The Olympiakos striker was in sensational form last season, scoring 20 goals in the Greek Super League in 24 games and it is rumoured that he has a buy-out clause of just £6.4million.
“My manager (has). Me? No,” Mirallas said when asked if he has had any contact with Arsenal.
After being asked: “So it may happen?”, he replied “Yes, it’s good.”
It appears that the 24-year-old would prefer a move to the Emirates over Anfield because of the opportunity to play with Thomas Vermaelen.
“Thomas plays very good at Arsenal and now a lot of Belgian players are in the Premier League,” added Mirallas.
“(Moving to England) It’s good for me, it’s good for my family and it’s a good opportunity, but I don’t know...it’s possible.”
