Transfer news: Manuel Pellegrini believes Santi Cazorla is worth more than €20million
Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini has dealt Arsenal and Tottenham a blow by insisting that a €20million offer may not be enough for Santi Cazorla.
The 27-year-old Spain international has been the subject of intense speculation with a move to north London the most likely move.
“Selling him for 20million is to gift him away, I don’t think the club is in a position to do that or has the intention to do it,” Pellegrini said.
“If important offers come in for players they are always worthy of consideration, but I don’t think that for 20million Santi is going to leave the club because it would be, as I said, a gift.”
