Laurent Koscielny will miss France’s game with Uruguay
Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny has been ruled out of France’s friendly with Uruguay on Wednesday after sustaining a calf injury.
The 26-year-old joins Jack Wilshere, Bacary Sagna and Emmanuel Frimpong on the treatment table.
“Everybody has arrived this morning and everybody is in good health,” said new France boss Didier Deschamps.
“We have a problem with Laurent Koscielny who has a problem with his calf. He will be examined this afternoon but its seems difficult to play him on Wednesday.”
Koscielny is the second Arsenal player to pull out of the August friendly, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain missing England’s game with Italy.
