Transfer news: The Gunners will accept offers for Robin van Persie if they match their valuation
Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi has admitted that Robin van Persie can leave the Gunners, as long as the price is right.
The Dutchman has admitted he will not sign a new deal with the north Londoners, alerting Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.
Reports have suggested that Arsenal want £30million for the 28-year-old and it will be difficult for the north Londoners to reject a bid of that size given that Van Persie has one year left on his contract.
“If there is a great offer and if he wants to leave, it will be difficult to keep him,” Grimandi is quoted as saying by le10sport.com.
“I would never have thought that players such as Thiago Silva [the AC Milan defender] could be transferable and that was the case at a time. There are parameters you cannot handle.”
