Robin van Persie, who has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Juventus, will not be allowed to speak to the media during Euro 2012

Arsenal have slapped a media ban on star man Robin van Persie for Euro 2012 as speculation mounts regarding the Dutchman’s future.

The striker scored 30 goals as the Gunners finished in third place, 19 points behind winners Manchester City.

A Netherlands spokesman confirmed this in a statement which read: “We made a deal with Arsenal and he won’t talk to the press.”

Van Persie has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Juventus.
