Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny believes Swansea City’s £2million man Michu has been the best bargain signing in Premier League history.
The Spaniard has hit 16 goals for the Swans since joining from Rayo Vallecano in the summer, three of which have come against the Gunners.
And Szczesny has warned his Arsenal team-mates that they will need to be on their toes to stop the 26-year-old from adding to his tally in tonight’s FA Cup third round replay.
“He is as good as they get in the Premier League,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“Paying £2 million for him must be the bargain of the season, probably one of the best ever in the Premier League.
“I think he has scored 15 or 16 goals and we are only in January, so I have been very impressed with him.
“I am not scared of him, but he has been fantastic. He seems to be getting on the end of everything at the moment.”
