Nicklas Bendtner is set to face disciplinary action from Uefa after breaching their code on advertising
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is likely to be in hot water with Uefa after he celebrated Denmark’s equaliser against Portugal by revealing sponsored underpants.
The Gunners man, who was on loan at Sunderland last season, revealed Paddy Power branded underwear after scoring his second goal against Portugal – although his side went on to lose 3-2.
Uefa has a strict rule banning advertising on any player’s clothing, except the manufacturer.
Paddy Power issued a statement congratulating the forward after the goal.
