Harry Redknapp’s comments anger on-loan Sunderland striker
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has expressed his anger over recent comments made by Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.
In the build-up to Saturday’s goaless draw between Spurs and Sunderland, the club for whom the Dane has joined on loan, Redknapp said: “If [Arsenal manager] Arsene Wenger thought he was that good, he wouldn’t let him go out on loan, would he?”
And this prompted a response from Bendtner, who expressed his unhappiness on his twitter account.
“Saw there manager talking rubbish about me,” he tweeted.
“I am not Even gonna commit [comment] on crap liked that. Well done safc for the support today.”
Bendtner has struck 10 goals for Sunderland this season, but failed to make an impact in the match on Saturday.
The striker left Arsenal after fialing to dislodge in-form forward Robin van Persie from the first team.
