Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud has confirmed that his representatives have spoken to Bayner Munich.

The Ligue 1 top scorer has been linked with a move to Arsenal after his 21 strikes helped his side to the top of the table.

“I haven’t spoken with Bayern Munich personally, but my agent has been in touch with them,” the France international told Sport Bild.

“Bayern Munich are very well known in France because of all the positive experiences other French players have had there. They have all said how well they were received at Bayern, and how happy they were at the club.”
