Bolton legend Jussi Jaaskelainen has revealed that he turned down moves to Arsenal and Manchester United to remain at the Trotters.

The Finn is out of contract at the end of the season and is likely to leave after losing his place to Adam Bogdan.

“I haven’t regretted anything although Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan all wanted to sign me,” he told Kepes Sport.

“My team is Bolton Wanderers in the good times and in the bad times too, I feel at home at this club.”

Jaaskelainen has made over 500 appearances for Bolton since joining the club for £100,000 in 1997.
