Euro 2012 squad announced

Chelsea skipper John Terry has been selected for England’s 2012 Euro squad, Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is another shock name on the list.

Uncapped Oxlade-Chamberlain has started just six Premier League games for the Gunners, while the upcoming court case against Terry means that his selections is likely to cause much debate.

Chelsea team-mates Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard are picked, while Theo Walcott has been backed to recover from an injury to be fit.

Tottenham duo Jermain Defoe and Scott parker have also been selected.

England squad in full: Hart, Green, Ruddy, Baines, Cahill, Cole, Johnson, Lescott, Terry, Barry, Downing, Gerrard, Lampard, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Parker, Walcott, Young, Carroll, Defoe, Rooney, Welbeck.
