Juventus have cooled their interest in Robin van Persie
Juventus have seemingly pulled out of the race to sign Arsenal star Robin van Persie.
The Gunners striker has been linked with the Italian giants in recent months but suffered a poor Euro 2012.
“We don’t want stars, we do not need top players, but functional players for the project,” Juventus CEO Giuseppe Moratta is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.
“We want motivated players that have an estimated economic value that is proper and not very high.”
