Former Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt has revealed that Arsenal ace Robin van Persie wants to play for Fenerbache at some stage in his career.

While a move will not take place now, the Dutchman, who has been linked with Manchester United and Manchester City, admitted that he will not sign a new contract with the Gunners.

“[Van Persie] told me that he wants to play for Fenerbahce one day,” he told Milliyet Spor.

“But at the moment there is nothing of the sort. He only shared the feelings he had inside.”
