Transfer news: Vito Mannone could be heading to the Tigers

Hull manager Steve Bruce intends to speak to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger about the availability of goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

The Gunners stopper is likely to leave the Emirates due to a lack of first-team football and has had successful loan spells with the Tigers in the past.

“Vito’s obviously done very well here by all accounts but we’ll speak with Mr Wenger when he returns from his holiday next week,” said Bruce. “I like the boy but we’ll have to see what the situation is.”
