Gareth Barry has warned Manchester City that they must improve defensively for the visit of Arsenal on Sunday.
While the Gunners have conceded just once in four Premier League games this season, City are yet to keep a clean sheet, conceding six times.
And England midfielder Barry has urged the Citizens to tighten up in their “massive game” against the Gunners, who put six past Southampton in their last league game.
“It has not been an ideal start to the season,” the 31-year-old said.
“We finished last season with a great defensive record.
“This time we are scoring a lot of goals but conceding at the same time. I am sure as the season goes on it is something we can work on.
“We have started pretty steadily in the league, undefeated.
“But this game against Arsenal is massive.
“They are a great side and we have got to try to continue our fine home form.”
