With Arsenal’s nightmare season going from bad to worse – could the Arsene Wenger era be drawing to a close?

The Gunners were dealt another blow with Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, leaving them a whopping seven points behind bitter rivals Spurs, who occupy the crucial fourth spot in the Premier League.

With just 34 points to show from 22 league games, it is Wenger’s worst start to a season since his arrival back in 1996.

The pressure is rising on the Frenchman, who continues to frustrate Arsenal fans with his apparent reluctance to spend money on new signings to replace departed stars.

So how long do you think he should stay? Have you lost faith in the man who transformed Arsenal, or do you think he is still the best man for the job?
