Transfer news: In-demand Saint Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed he would like to move to England - and admits he would be interested in signing for Newcastle.

The Gabon international has been linked with London trio Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea but Alan Pardew’s Newcastle are reportedly leading the race for his signature.

“I will choose England before any other destination,” he told Sky Sports.

“My dream has always been to play in one of the top two leagues in the world.

“Newcastle is a good club and St James’s Park is a monumental stadium where there is passionate fans.”
