Transfer news: Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero will be leaving the Italian club at the end of the season
The agent of Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero, has admitted that playing for Arsenal or QPR is appealing to his client but has said that there have been no formal offers.
The 37-year-old will leave the Italian giants at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to London.
However, agent Stefano Del Piero, the strikers older brother, has denied any contact with the London duo.
“There’s not much for me to say about this because it seems premature to even discuss it,” he told TuttoJuve. “There’s a long way to go before the end of the season and there are some big games coming up.
“It’s possible that there is interest [from Arsenal and QPR], but we’re not aware of it. Our position at the moment is that we are willing to listen to any offers, but we’re not going to let it get in the way of Alessandro’s performances for the Bianconeri.”
He added: “It’s hard to see him wearing the colours of another Italian club.”
