Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez has challenged his defence to start keeping clean sheets in light of their 2-2 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Daggers led twice through Michael Spillane and Scott Doe however Izale McLeod and Ben May pulled it back for the Bees.

“The most important thing was not to lose,” Sanchez said. “That was the overriding feeling that we brought into this game.

“And when we went down twice we showed the character to come back and get the equalisers which we badly needed.

“We need to stop conceding goals first and foremost, it’s all about clean sheets from now until the end of the season.”

Barnet make the long trip to Macclesfield on Friday night, knowing that a win would see them six points clear of the relegation zone.
