Barnet joint head coach Mark Robson has vowed that the real Bees will show up when they face Oxford on Tuesday.

The north Londonders were comprehensively beaten by United when they met in the FA Cup, but Robson’s side had injury issues that should be resolved when the pair meet in the league.

“We had them here a few weeks ago in the FA Cup,” he said. “We made changes that day through injuries. We’ll have a strong side out on Tuesday.

“I’m hoping for a better game. We’re delighted with a point today. To go one down and get a goal back is a good sign for a team.

“We showed good character today to do that. I hope we perform better than we did last time against them.

“We’ll be looking for a better performance against them. It’ll be a stronger team come Tuesday night so hopefully we’ll give them a better game.

The Bees boss knows that his side face a difficult test against a strong side.

“When we played them, I thought they were a very good side and a strong side,” he added.

“We’ve looked at them. We should be a stronger team ourselves. We can reverse the scoreline.”
