Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has turned down the chance to sign former Sheffield United defender Andy Taylor and former Preston striker Juvhel Tsoumou but sent them on their way with words of encouragement.

The pair both went on the Bees’ pre-season tour of Germany but did not do enough to warrant a contract offer.

“I’d like to thank Andy and Juvhel for their time and wish them every success for the future,” Rosler said.
