Shaleum Logan believes his side have renewed confidence after winning consecutive games against Rochdale, Preston, MK Dons and Oldham
Brentford full back Shaleum Logan believes his side have found renewed confidence after winning four games in a row.
The Bees had only won consecutive games once this season [beating Wycombe and Walsall in September] prior to this impressive run which has seen them beat Rochdale and Oldham at home as well as Preston North End and MK Dons away.
“Confidence is high,” Logan told London24. “We beat Rochdale at home comfortably.
“We then went to Preston and won where we produced a very good team performance then we went into the MK Dons game where we’d think that this was a bonus game but we went into it believing we could win.”
The Griffin Park outfit host Bury on Saturday before making the long trip to Hartlepool on Monday, but the 23-year-old has no fear going into the Easter programme.
“We’ve got a tough couple of fixtures,” he added. “We played really well there and they did well to get a point.
“We feel confident with them coming to our patch.
“The morale is there. We’re going into those two games thinking we can win.
“You would think MK Dons and Preston away are harder but you never know.”
One man Brentford should know all about is Mike Grella, who made four starts for the Bees in a six month spell earlier this season.
“He is a very good player,” Logan admitted. “He’ll want to put one over on us. Hopefully we’ll produce the goods on the day.”
