Brentford striker Antonio German wants his side to pick up at least four points from the Bees next two games at Swindon and at home to Sheffield United.
The west Londoners are six games unbeaten and face two sides that are looking to go for promotion and the 20-year-old wants his side to put in a good showing in these two crunch matches.
“They’re very big games,” German told London24. “Sheffield and Swindon are both big teams and hopefully we can get at least four points but we want six.
“We’d like a point at Swindon with a win at home.”
The Bees make the trip to the County Ground on Tuesday and the 20-year-old knows that they face a tough test against the Robins.
“Swindon are in and around the play-offs,” he added. “We want to go there and make a statement.”
German has had some troubles in recent years and a promising career looked to be going down the pan.
“He’s talented. He has been in the Championship before with QPR,” manager Uwe Rosler said.
“He lost his way a little bit and he has a chance to work himself up again and that only comes with hard work.”
And the striker can understand why the German boss has said that.
“I can understand why the manager said that,” he admitted. “I need to kick on and keep working hard.
“I’m at Brentford and I hope we can push for promotion.”
