Barnet captain Mark Hughes scored the winner against Burton Albion to guarantee Football League status for another year at the expense of Hereford.

Mark Byrne had given his side the lead but Jacques Maghoma levelled for the Brewers.

However, news from Edgar Street that the Bulls were leading 3-0 came in meaning that Barnet had to win in order to survive.

But Mark Hughes restored the lead for the north London club on the hour mark as Hereford started to wobble and conceded two goals.

And they held on to remain in League Two for another year.
