Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer is looking forward to Saturday’s game against Brighton.
The Addicks are going into the game looking to preserve their unbeaten run which now stands at six while the Seagulls will look to bounce back from last week’s hammering at Crystal Palace.
“It’s a new game for us,” Hamer said. “We know every game is going to be different and pose new threats.
“They’re a good passing side. Their stats showing that they’re good away from home.
“We’ll be working on it and hopefully give the fans something to cheer about.”
The former Reading trainee has kept four clean sheets in five games, since shipping four against Cardiff as the Addicks triumphed in a nine goal thriller.
“We’ve only conceded a penalty in that time,” the stopper added.
“We’ve been very sound defensively and if we score goals now then we won’t be too far away.”
