In demand Crystal Palace youngster Nathaniel Clyne will take his time as to which club he will join in the summer, according to his advisor Daniel Wilson.

The 21-year-old, who is out of contract at Selhurst Park, has been linked with Newcastle, Manchester United, Everton and Ajax after impressing in south Lonodn.

“We need to know where he is going for the start of pre-season so we’re not in any rush,” Wilson told Goal.com.

“It’s a very big decision for him so he will take his time and make sure he makes the right choice for his own career and next step of his development.

“Palace have offered him a contract but we are looking at all his options at the moment.

“All I can say is that he is a very wanted young man because Nathaniel is one of the best young full backs in England and he is very well thought of both at home and abroad.”

Clyne has made more than 150 appearances for the Eagles since making his debut back in 2008 and potential suitors will have to pay a sizeable compensation fee.

Wilson added: “Compensation is not an issue – it’s up to the clubs to agree how much it should be and if they can’t agree then it will go to a tribunal.

“Wherever he goes, hopefully they will agree but I don’t have any jurisdiction over how much they will ask for.

“Palace have been fantastic for his development but there’s always a time for a player to move and it seems it could be that time.”
