The in-form wideman, who put in a man of the match display in the side’s 3-0 win over fierce rivals Brighton on Saturday admits defenders are pulled towards man marking his team mate, giving his joy on the opposite flank.

He said: “He does attract a lot of players which means I get a lot of space at times and it’s only going to help the team if I get a lot of space as well but ‘s definitely a good thing if Wilf is mercurial.

“Wilf’s just Wilf.”

Bolasie also said he was enjoying playing under Ian Holloway, particularly during the side’s current hot streak, which has seen just one defeat in the last 16 games.

He added: “With Holloway, of course he works more on the attacking side which is only going to help me in the future.

“I’m just buzzing really, I’m just happy to be playing the way that I’m playing. Winning games and top of the league, can’t really ask for any more right now.”
