Millwall boss Kenny Jackett will look at extending the loan spell of Mark Beevers after the 22-year-old defender helped the Lions to a six-game unbeaten streak.
The Sheffield Wednesday centre-back’s temporary deal expires after Saturday’s trip to face Nottingham Forest, but he has impressed during his month at The Den and last weekend reduced Huddersfield to just one shot on target as the south Londoners won 4-0 in their Championship clash.
Jackett said: “He has one more game but we’ll speak to Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his loan, I’m sure.
“Since he’s been here we’ve been unbeaten so it’s a nice little run and a nice stat.
“As a young player, he’s looking to get into a Championship side, stay there and make his way.”
