Millwall goalkeeper David Forde has been impressed with Mick McCarthy’s start at Ipswich.
The former Wolves boss has won four of his first seven games in charge of the Tractor Boys and he will be looking to end the Lions’ unbeaten run on Saturday.
And the Republic of Ireland international is aware of the talents of McCarthy.
“Mick McCarthy has got them going,” Forde said. “He’s a fantastic manager.
“It’s a tough place to go to. We have to keep doing what we’re doing.
“They had a big win at Bolton. That’ll give them a lift. It’s another game that we’ve got.”
The Lions are hoping to go 14 unbeaten on Saturday and there is a belief that they will be stronger away from home than at The Den where sides are likely to follow Charlton’s lead and play of a point.
“You’re going to get that,” Forde added. “We’re going to set up and they’ll have to go for it.
“You never know how the game is going to pan out.
“We’ve got to keep on doing the right things. That’s why we’ve been successful.”
