Transfer News: Scott Malone has joined Millwall, while Josh McQuoid has returned to Bournemouth
Millwall have completed the signing of Bournemouth full back Scott Malone, with striker Josh McQuoid moving in the other direction.
Malone scored six goals for the Cherries in 37 games last season, while McQuoid struggled to force his way into Kenny Jackett’s first team plans at The Den and moved on loan to Burnley in the latter part of the season.
“Scott will give us an option and some freshness down the left hand side,” Jackett told the club’s official site.
“He can play left back and wide left, and has a good assist record as well as the goals he scores.”
Malone, 21, was also relishing linking up with Lions striker Andy Keogh again.
“I know Andy Keogh well from my time at Wolves and it will be good to link up with him again,” the full back said.
“I’m delighted to have the chance to prove myself in the Championship with Millwall, and my aim is to keep scoring a few goals!”
