Millwall manager Kenny Jackett believes that Karleigh Osborne is improving all the time after an impressive performance against Middlesbrough.

The former Brentford man had struggled in pre-season as he looked to return to playing regular football after suffering an injury-hit season last year.

And Jackett wants to see his defender continuing to work on his fitness.

“He’s got the basics Karleigh,” the Lions boss said. “I think he has to keep working at his fitness.

“He had injuries at Brentford last year. He’s got the power and personality.

“He’s a work in progress for us after picking him up in the summer. He has the power to play in this division.”
