Transfer news: The Lions are still on the hunt to improve their squad
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is still desperate to improve his squad ahead of their Capital One Cup clash with Crawley.
The Lions have signed Chris Taylor, Scott Malone and Karleigh Osborne this summer as well as making Maik Taylor’s loan move permanent as they look to improve after finishing 16th last season.
“We do hope to bring more in,” Jackett said.
“I’m always looking to strengthen.
“I don’t know if any signings will come off before Crawley or August 31 [transfer deadline day].”
Despite some players shining last season, no other club has come in with an offer for one of Jackett’s stars.
“We haven’t had any bids or enquiries,” Jackett revealed. “We want to build and keep our good players.
“We’re not looking to sell anybody if we can help it.”
