Transfer news: Darius Henderson has been linked with a move away from Millwall

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has insisted that there have been no bids for striker Darius Henderson.

The 30-year-old has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves, Brighton and Cardiff after scoring 19 goals in 28 games last season.

Despite this return, Henderson did not feature in the last seven games of the season with Jackett preferring to start Andy Keogh and Harry Kane up front.

“We have had no bids, calls, inquiries or approaches about him and he is contracted to us for a full season,” the Lions boss told The Star.

“Finding centre-forwards who can score goals at Championship level is a tough, tough job.

“He hit 19 goals at a point in our season when it was very important, when we were struggling for points.

“We were not free-flowing and he was an important outlet. He has come back very fit after working through the summer and that is good to see.

“Hopefully, he will have a good, settled pre-season.”
