David Forde enjoyed the stand off with Brighton’s Ryan Harley.
Millwall goalkeeper David Forde was delighted to continue his penalty saving form for the Lions.
The Republic of Ireland international saved Ryan Harley’s penalty, however observers will remember it for Harley trying to roll it into the corner.
“I’ve saved a few penalties at Millwall and it’s nice to continue. All penalties are difficult. There’s no such thing as an easy penalty,” he said.
“If I dive off to my right it peels off into the back of the net. You have to stand up as long as you can.
“It was a bit of a stand-off. I just had to be brave and tried to talk myself into staying as long as I can.
Millwall are currently in the Championship relegation zone, but the goalkeeper is confident the Lions would turn their form around and begin to climb up the table.
“We have a great bunch of lads here. We’re all fighting and battling. We know where we are at the moment but it hasn’t really clicked for us at the moment. We were probably the better side in the first-half,” he said.
“I’m sure one victory will kick-start our season. We’ve been in a lot of games where we need that bit more. We’re not too far away.
Millwall travel to Sven Goran Eriksson’s Leicester City on Saturday.
