The Lions have lost their last four games at The Den against Leeds, Southampton, Reading and Middlesbrough
Millwall midfielder Josh Wright has suggested that the pitch at The Den is a possible factor in the Lions’ recent woes at home but is at a loss as to why the south Londoners are unable to pick up points at home.
Kenny Jackett’s side have not won at home since Boxing Day and have lost their last four matches – a club record.
“I don’t know [why the home form is so bad],” Wright told London24. “We’ve asked ourselves that question.
“I think the pitch will play a big factor in that. I don’t think the pitch is great here.
“Maybe we have to adapt to that and change the way we play.”
However, Millwall have enjoyed an excellent run of form away from The Den, winning three, drawing once and losing twice in their last six league games.
“We’re winning away from home and long may that continue,” Wright added.
“I really don’t know why we’re not winning at home. Luck is not coming our way.
“I don’t know whether the opposition are intimidated or not. If we can keep winning away we’ll be safe.
“We’ve got to look to turn our home form around and we’ll do that soon.”
