David Forde is hoping for a similar result to last season
Millwall goalkeeper David Forde is targeting another good result at Burnley tomorrow.
The Lions enjoyed a 3-0 win at Turf Moor last season with Paul Robinson grabbing a brace and Tottenham loanee Andros Townsend scoring the other.
The south London club were beaten 3-1 by Middlesbrough on Tuesday and the 32-year-old stopper believes his side can bounce back against the Clarets.
“We had a good result up there last year,” Forde told London24.
“We’re looking forward to going again and hopefully getting the same result.”
The Republic of Ireland international believes that Burnley’s Jay Rodriguez will be the one to watch.
The youth team graduate has scored 18 goals in 37 games in all competitions and Forde knows that he is the danger to Millwall.
“Rodriguez is their talisman. If we can keep him quiet we’ve got half a chance,” he added.
