Millwall star Andy Keogh has hailed Tottenham loanee Harry Kane and backs the 18-year-old to have a big future in the game.

The Lions strike pairing have shared 15 goals between them since February, with the former Wolves man scoring nine and Kane six.

“I think we’re on the same wavelength,” Keogh told London24.

“We look for each other. We like to play one-twos and we’ve got to work hard.

“It’s a good combination. Considering he is so young he is only going to get better.”

Lions manager Kenny Jackett has admitted how much he would like to see the Spurs youngster back at The Den next season and Keogh wants the partnership to continue.

“You’ve seen how it’s been for the last four months of the season,” the striker added.

“To get him back would be a great addition because a lot of teams would want him.”

Kane revealed last week how much he was enjoying playing with Keogh.

“We get on very well,” the Spurs youngster said. “We’ve got a good understanding.

“We know each others games and we know how to play with each other.

“I thought the movement was great and we worked off each other.

“You can learn from playing with him. I’ve got a lot to learn and playing with him is great for me.”
