Tottenham youngster Harry Kane is hopeful of forcing his way into Spurs’ first team next season.

The 18-year-old impressed for Millwall, scoring nine goals in 27 games and Lions Kenny Jackett wants to see him back at The Den.

“I will go into pre-season with the hope and aim of playing first-team football for Spurs and if I can get a good pre-season under my belt then who knows what can happen next year,” Kane told Sky Sports.

“Hopefully it will lead to a few Premier League appearances and from there it is up to me to score goals and show what I can do.

“Millwall is a great club and I don’t think that we deserve to be where we are this season, so next season I can definitely see them breaking into the top ten.”
