QPR manager Harry Redknapp will meet with the club’s owners to discuss the January transfer window.
The R’s boss has made it clear that the west Londoners must be in a position where they can fight for survival by the end of the month if the club are going to invest.
“We’re going to meet this week,” Redknapp said. “We can be in a position where we can strengthen the team and give it a real go.
“If we are cut adrift then we have to look at it carefully. We need to get a win at Wigan.”
“If we are in there, we’ll look at it and see where we go. It’s a case of knowing who is around. I’ve not looked at it.”
Rangers paid nearly three times as much in agents’ fees over the course of last season and it gives an indication that financial troubles may occur if they are unable to escape the situation.
Redknapp commented: “It’s an awful lot of money when you’re sitting at the bottom of the league.”
