Adel Taarabt’s QPR career looks to be at an end after Harry Redknapp revealed he does not want the on-loan forward back at Loftus Road.

The Rs boss said that neither Taarabt nor striker Loic Remy are part of his long-term plans.

Rangers sent Taarabt on a season-long to neighbours Fulham in August after he fell out of favour with Redknapp, who sent the Moroccan home from pre-season training.

France international striker Remy, meanwhile, completed a similar move to Newcastle, having voiced his desire to leave Rangers after last season’s relegation.

“Taarabt and all those who’ve gone on loan – good luck to them,” said Redknapp. “I hope they do well, stay where they are and get a contract there.”

Taarabt made 150 league appearances for QPR since joining from Spurs in March 2009.

Remy joined QPR in January, having turned down a move to Newcastle, and scored six times.

“He [Remy] wanted to go to Newcastle, so good luck to him. I hope he does well,” Redknapp added. “He’s not in my thoughts. I only want people who are here and want to be here, that’s all I’m concerned with.”

Meanwhile, Redknapp insisted there is a place in his side for midfielder Alejandro Faurlin.

Faurlin has found himself out of the team in recent weeks, with his 79 minutes against Middlesbrough at the weekend only his second start of the season.

But Redknapp said he had no plans to send the Argentine out on loan: “We’re not going to do that again,” he said. “I like him. He’s a decent player – a good footballer. He’s my squad and if he comes in I know he’ll do well.”
