Transfer news: Frederic Piquionne appears to be on his way out of Upton Park

Doncaster are in talks to sign West Ham striker Frederic Piquionne on loan.
The striker is out of favour at Upton Park and is unlikely to play for the Hammers again after strikers Ricardo Vaz Te and Nicky Maynard arrived on transfer deadline day.
The east London club are willing to loan out the Frenchman and Doncaster are looking for a forward after selling Billy Sharp to Southampton in January.
“We are talking to West Ham about taking Piquionne on loan,” advisor Willie McKay told skysports.com.
“He is a player I know a lot about having followed him when he was in France with St Etienne, Monaco and Lyon before coming to Portsmouth and then West Ham.
“Dean is keen to get a new striker in and hopefully we can do a deal for Piquionne.”
