Ryan Bertrand was unhappy with Senegal’s challenges
Chelsea star and Team GB full back Ryan Bertrand has revealed that he feared injury during the Olympics opener against Senegal.
Craig Bellamy and Joe Allen were forced off through injury as Moussa Konate cancelled out the Reds frontman’s goal.
“There were some horrific challenges. I was fearing for my safety,” he told reporters.
“I have cuts on my shoulder and I am sure [Craig] Bellamy is feeling down.”
