The agent of Chelsea teenager Romelu Lukaku has ruled out a loan switch across west London to rivals Fulham but has lined up another Premier League destination for the forward.

The Belgium international signed for the Blues last season from Anderlecht but has struggled to establish himself and is yet to register a goal in 12 appearances.

The 19-year-old had been strongly linked with a move to Craven Cottage but agent Christophe Henrotay has scuppered any hopes of an agreement being reached, while Stoke and Sunderland are waiting in the wings.

“I can assure you that Romelu is not going to Fulham,” Henrotay toldSport/Foot. “I am currently finalising the details with another Premier League club.

“Romelu will go on loan. I cannot say which team he will join, or when it will happen, but things are progressing.”
